The Early Childhood Studies Center at San Antonio College has helped Michael De La Cerda stay on track to finish his pre-nursing degree next semester.
“I’ve never felt like my daughter was in better care,” De La Cerda told SAC faculty and U.S. Rep. Lloyd Doggett at a news conference Friday while holding Caroline, 4. “Everyone here treats her like family, treats me like family.”
