While the election is not quite over, I am honored to have earned the support of voters to return to Washington to be a strong voice for working families. Though I am optimistic that our new President will be declared shortly, this new era will not be without its challenges. We still likely face a GOP Senate under the leadership of the grim reaper, Mitch McConnell, who has blocked meaningful legislation from advancing. With a divided country and so much needing to be accomplished to support the American people during a pandemic, much hard work lies ahead.
